Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Mirza Fakhrul was saying this tonight while addressing a discussion organized by the Nationalist Student Party marking its 46th anniversary at the Engineer’s Institution Auditorium, Ramna.
Referring to the prevailing political situation and crisis, the BNP Secretary General said, “The only solution to this crisis is an election acceptable to everybody. History has proved this, which we have been explaining over and over again.”.
Mirza Fakhrul said, “Unfortunately, the game of conspiracy has started again in Bangladesh. This happened many times in the past. Once again, there are domestic and international conspiracies targeting Bangladesh. Such conspiracies took away Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman; Begum Khaleda Zia had to spend six years in prison; and Tarique Rahman is still forced to live abroad. This conspiracy has started once more.”
Assuring that these conspiracies will not succeed, the BNP Secretary General said, “We want to make it very clear that the people of Bangladesh will never let these conspiracies succeed. There have been numerous attempts to dismantle the BNP, but they have never succeeded. Even during the last so-called elections, despite their efforts, they could not remove more than one or two individuals. This is because BNP’s politics are deeply rooted in the people’s interests. What are those politics? They are based on three pillars: the country’s independence, sovereignty, and democracy. These are the foundations of BNP’s politics.”

“BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman joined virtually and delivered a speech today at the discussion meeting marking the 46th anniversary of the Nationalist Student Party, held at the Engineers Institution Auditorium in Ramna.

Mirza Fakhrul reiterated the demand for immediate elections: “We cannot allow anything in the name of reforms that disrupts democracy. I urge the government to arrange an election without further delay and free the people of Bangladesh from the ongoing crisis.“Today’s news:
BNP Secretary General added, “We have already offered an interim government to throw out fascism. We hope that the interim government will implement the necessary minimum reform—electoral reforms so that there will be a level playing field, administrative reforms, reforms in the judiciary, and basic economic reforms. A decent election, acceptable to all, can be had through those.”
In the outset, Mirza Fakhrul extended homage to all democracy-loving people of the country as, through uprisings, fascist Sheikh Hasina was compelled to flee the country.
Today’s news-Addressing the leaders and activists of the Nationalist Student Party, Chhatra Dal, Mirza Fakhrul said, “Chhatra Dal is our vanguard. They must now engage in knowledge-based politics. The most crucial task is to engage in the cyberwar. We have to give more strength to our social media. If not, it will be defeated; extend social media activities more and more to counter false propaganda. Conspiracies are taking place both at home and abroad, and it is our duty to confront those with intellect and strategy.
The discussion was presided over by Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam and conducted by General Secretary Nasir Uddin. BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman joined the discussion as the chief guest through a virtual speech. Others who took part in the discussion on behalf of the organization included former presidents and general secretaries such as Shamsuzzaman Dudu, Asaduzzaman Ripon, Amanullah Aman, Khairul Kabir, Nazimuddin Alam, Shahiduddin Chowdhury, Azizul Bari Helal, Sultan Salahuddin, Abdul Qader Bhuiyan, Habibur Rashid, and BNP’s Student Affairs Secretary, Rakibul Islam Bakul.
